For Brooks Team Members Working Onsite: Notification of Positive Diagnosis, July 15, 2020

We learned Wednesday afternoon, July 15, that a Carenet team member who works onsite at our Brooks campus has tested positive for COVID-19.

Please keep our impacted team member in your thoughts. Due to confidentiality laws, we will not publish the name of the team member.

Here is what we know:

  • The team member last worked on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, during the morning. The individual passed the daily wellness check, but began to worry about fatigue later in the morning.
  • The team member practiced social distancing, had no direct or indirect contact with other team members, and left campus by noon. The team member wore a face covering except when at their desk.
  • Brooks’ Building 1 and Employee Center are being professionally sanitized.

We will continue to closely monitor this situation. We ask that everyone working onsite remain extra attentive to virus prevention guidelines. If you are feeling ill, stay home. If you begin to feel sick at work, go home immediately. While you’re at work, wear a mask as much as possible. Wash your hands, and stay at least 6 ft. apart from coworkers.

If you have further questions or concerns, please speak with your manager or send an email to COVID19@carenethealthcare.com.
