Feeling worried or anxious? Remember your EAP benefit

If you’re feeling stressed, worried or anxious, remember that you can turn to the Carenet Health-provided Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for help. Through this benefit, you can speak to a professionally licensed counselor who can offer support.

What is an EAP? It’s a FREE service provided by Carenet to our team members as part of your benefits package. The program can connect you with resources to assist with emotional concerns such as stress and depression, as well as financial and legal matters and other issues.

Who can use the services? All Carenet team members—part-time or full-time.

Who at Carenet will know I’m using the benefit? No one. It’s completely confidential.

How many free counseling sessions can I use? Each Carenet team member receives five telephonic consultations with a licensed professional, per incident, per year (i.e., death of a family member = incident #1, argument with your spouse = incident #2, etc.)

The program also includes access to online articles and resources relating to subjects like how to quit smoking, going through a divorce, caring for an elderly family member, dealing with grief,
returning to work after having a baby, building relationships with coworkers and managers, retirement planning, tax issues, identity theft and more.
