Attention Onsite Woodstone Team Members: Notification of Positive Diagnosis, July 23, 2020

We learned this morning that a Carenet team member who was training onsite in Building 600 on the Woodstone campus has tested positive for COVID-19.

We ask that you keep this team member in your thoughts. Due to confidentiality laws, we will not publish the name of the team member.

Here is what we know:

  • The team member was last onsite on Wednesday, July 22, for the full day. They were part of a training class in Building 600.

  • We have immediately closed the impacted training room and restroom and the Employee Center until 1 p.m. All of Building 600 will be closed from 12 noon to 1 p.m., and all affected areas will be professionally sanitized per CDC guidelines.

  • Common areas and frequently touched surfaces were disinfected throughout the day yesterday, as per the daily Carenet Pandemic Response protocol.

  • The team member practiced social distancing and wore a face covering. All team members who were in close proximity to this team member are being communicated with directly, per Carenet policy and CDC recommendations.

We will continue to closely monitor all cases and campuses. We know that as more cases are identified, it can be unsettling. We ask everyone working onsite to be extremely vigilant. As spread of the virus is increasing, it is up to each of us to protect ourselves and our coworkers.

We all must do our part, including:

  • If you have ANY symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and contact your manager. For instance, don’t assume it’s allergies without getting tested.
  • When asked questions during our pre-entry wellness checks, please be absolutely transparent, so that others are not put at risk.
  • If you begin to feel ill at work, leave immediately and notify your manager.
  • Wear your face covering all the time, unless at your workstation.
  • Keep at least 6 ft. away from coworkers. This includes during breaks, in meetings and training, and during meals.
  • Wash your hands well and often. Use hand sanitizer.

If you have further questions or concerns, please speak with your manager or send an email to COVID19@carenethealthcare.com.
