Attention Onsite Brooks Team Members: Notification of Positive Diagnosis, August 3, 2020

Reminder: It is Carenet’s policy to communicate positive diagnoses as part of our commitment to transparency.

This morning, we learned a Carenet team member who works onsite at our Brooks campus (Building 1) has tested positive for COVID-19. Please keep this team member in your thoughts during their recovery. Due to confidentiality laws, we will not publish their name.

Important information:

  • The team member last worked onsite on Thursday, July 23, 2020. The team member wore a face covering except when at their workstation and practiced social distancing.

  • The complete disinfection of all of Brooks campus, including Building 1, predates the team member being on our campus, so no further disinfecting action is needed today.

  • All team members who may have been in close proximity to this team member are being communicated with directly, per Carenet policy and CDC recommendations.

The Pandemic Response Taskforce continues to monitor all Carenet campuses. It is absolutely critical that all onsite team members remain vigilant about preventative measures.

  • Stay at your designated workstation as much as possible.
  • Wash your hands frequently.
  • Wear your mask all the time, except when you are at your desk. If you are interacting with a coworker, you both should have your masks on and remain at least 6 ft. apart.
  • Use the hand sanitizer and disinfecting spray/wipes regularly.
  • Do not come to work if you feel ill. If you begin to feel ill at work, alert your manager and leave immediately.

If you have further questions or concerns, please speak with your manager or send an email to COVID19@carenethealthcare.com.
